ABout AIRC Membership

AIRC memberships are organizational, except individual memberships. If you are employed by an AIRC member organization, you can access AIRC member benefits. View AIRC organizational member types below.

Agency Membership

Educational agencies with international or domestic headquarters may become AIRC members after successfully completing AIRC’s Certification Process. For the purposes of AIRC membership and certification, an educational agency is a contracted representative (organization, company or association) that provides student recruitment services and receives incentive compensation or commission for recruited and enrolled students.

COST: Once AIRC Certified, educational agency membership fees vary by size; small agencies (placing fewer than 3,000 students globally annually – based on the previous calendar year – January through December) pay $2,000 USD per year. Large agencies (placing 3,000 or more students globally annually – based on the previous calendar year – January through December) pay $4,000 USD per year. Continue to the AIRC Certification section to read more about the Certification process.

Institutional Membership

Regionally or nationally accredited U.S. secondary and higher educational institutions may join AIRC as institutional members.

COST: Institutional member fees varies by size; small institutions (10,000 students or fewer) pay $600 USD per year and large institutions (Over 10,000 students) pay $1,100 USD per year. TABS members receive a special discount, contact us to learn more.

Service Provider Affiliate

Service Provider Affiliates include businesses and organizations that offer products and services that support international student enrollment at U.S. secondary and post-secondary institutions. These entities could be for-profit and non-profit education, marketing, technology, and media companies, consulting firms, and other businesses that do not directly recruit or refer international students or fit AIRC’s definition of an educational agency [see the definition above]. Unlike accredited institutional members or AIRC Certified Agencies, Service Provider Affiliate members have no quality assessment conducted by AIRC and they may not imply otherwise. They may have other recognized accreditation, such as ISO, NACES, CEA or other accreditation or certification that is not administered by AIRC.

COST: Service Provider Affiliate annual fees are segmented into three different levels determined by annual revenue. Level I: if annual revenue is > $1 million, pay $2,000 USD per year. Level II: if annual revenue is < $1 million, pay $1,000 USD per year. Level III: if you are a Sole Proprietor, pay $500 USD per year.

Individual Membership

Individuals who would like to be a part of the AIRC community and are unaffiliated with academic institutions or support organizations. AIRC individual membership is limited to international education consultants who do not recruit students directly.

COST: Individual membership fees are $400 USD per year.

Global Membership

Accredited secondary and post secondary educational institutions outside of the US may join AIRC as global members.

COST: Global members pay $600 USD per year.
