Professional DevelopmentAIRC wants successful applicants for AIRC™ Certification to be able to provide evidence of their commitment to ongoing professional development for their senior management and staff. These development activities should have a consistent and accurate focus on U.S. institutions and the U.S. educational system. An initial professional development component will be offered during the period of Self-Evaluation. A staff assessment will take the form of a test, likely to be administered on-site at the time of the External Review. Senior management is expected to make a commitment to transferring this knowledge to all personnel working directly with students as part of the advising process. More information on the AIRC professional development approach will be available here soon.
