AIRC Certification Board Takes 18 Actions – Certified Agencies Now in 35 Countries
The AIRC Certification Board met for the second time from May 10-12, in Washington DC. This was the first sitting of the Certification Board following the completion of the AIRC pilot phase in December 2009. The AIRC Certification Board is composed of 13 members drawn from U.S. institutions of higher education and related interest organizations.
At its second meeting, the AIRC Certification Board took 18 actions:
- 14 recruitment agencies received AIRC Certification for the period May, 2010 to February, 2013, with interim reports required from 4 agencies
- 2 recruitment agencies received AIRC Conditional Certification with interim reports required
- 1 recruitment agency was Denied Certification
- 1 Interim Report was Approved from a previously Certified recruitment agency

AIRC 2nd Annual Conference - December 3-4, 2010 - Save the Dates
The American International Recruitment Council is pleased to announce its Second Annual Conference will be held at the Mayfair Hotel (click
here to make a reservation and view preliminary schedule) in Coconut Grove (Miami), Florida on December 3-4, 2010, immediately preceding the ICEF North America Workshop, which will take place from December 5 -7 in Key Biscayne, Florida.
The AIRC conference will be open to AIRC Certified Agency Member representatives, candidates, and applicants for AIRC Certification, AIRC institutional members, corporate sponsors, affiliate members, and observers. Complete registration and a call for session proposals will be posted on the AIRC website in mid July.
Call For Third-Party Comment On Candidate Agencies For Certification Board Review
The American International Recruitment Council (AIRC) certification
process includes an opportunity for parties independent of a candidate
agency under review to make written comment on whether the organization
meets the AIRC Certification Standards. Complete information may be
