Call For Third-Party Comment On Candidate Agencies For Certification Board Review
The American International Recruitment Council (AIRC) certification process includes an opportunity for parties independent of a candidate agency under review to make written comments on whether the organization meets the AIRC Certification Standards. This may include commentary from many different sources, such as higher education institutions and programs, governmental or non-governmental organizations, or individuals. The comments will assist the AIRC Certification Board as it considers an application for certification.
AIRC Certification staff will review any third-party comment to assess its applicability to the recognition review. Comments are considered confidential and are not publicly shared.
Third-party comment must be written and signed and is limited to the candidate agency’s efforts to meet the AIRC Certification Standards. All comments should cite the specific standard of concern and provide evidence related to the candidate agency's adherence to that standard. Signed comments must also indicate the organizational affiliation of the individual commenting along with a description of the organization. After review by AIRC staff to determine relevancy to the AIRC Certification Standards, written comments will be provided to the Certification Board and the candidate agency. Candidate agencies will have the opportunity to review and respond to written comments.
